Country: Greece (Ellás) City: Kerkyra (Corfu) Municipal theatre, built 1893-1902 by Conrado Pergolesi. Opened 7 Dec 1902 with Richard Wagner's "Lohengrin". From Jan 1916 to Nov 1918 also used as seat of the Serbian Parliament in exile. Destroyed by bombs on 13 Sep 1943. Remains demolished 1952. |
