Named in honour of the French opera librettist and Vaudeville author, Charles Edouard Favart. The three Salles Favart have been home to the "Opéra-Comique" company from 1783 to 1801, from 1840 to 1887, and again since 1898. 1500 seats. Notable world premieres:
