Concert hall, Built 1911-1914 by Ernst Rothe and Max Hummel on grounds donated by Sigmund Aschrott. Opened 1 Apr 1914. After World War II, used as interim home to the Staatstheater companies until 1959. Renovations and interior modernization in the 1990s, addition of a hotel complex. Currently used for classical and pop concerts and as a congress centre, also known as "Kongress Palais Kassel".
