Country: Germany (Deutschland) State: Bayern City: München Location: Maxvorstadt, Türkenstraße / Prinz-Ludwig-Straße Concert hall, built 1895 by Martin Dülfer as "Kaim-Saal". Named after Franz Kaim, founder of the "Kaim'sches Philharmonisches Orchester". 1895 installation of a Walcker pipe organ (op. 733, II/P 50). Renamed "Tonhalle" in Oct 1905. Destroyed by bombs on 25 Apr 1944. Remains demolished. Home to the "Kaim'sches Philharmonisches Orchester" (1895 renamed "Kaim-Orchester", 1908 renamed "Konzertvereins-Orchester", 1924 renamed "Münchner Philharmoniker"). Notable world premieres:
