Built 1909-1912 as "Königliches Hoftheater - Kleines Haus" by Max Littmann for the Kingdom of Württemberg. Opened 14 Sep 1912 with Schiller's "Demetrius". Ca. 1919 renamed "Landestheater - Kleines Haus". 837 seats. Completely destroyed by bombs on 21 Feb 1944 (stagehouse), 26 July 1944 (main façade), and 12 Sep 1944. Remains demolished in favour of a new "Kleines Haus" (built 1958-1962).
