Built 1966-1969 by Fritz Schäfer (of "Schäfer, Becker und Partner") for the city of Ulm. Opened 3 Oct 1969. Main hall: 817 seats, flexible studio stage "Forum": up to 200 seats. Used for opera, drama, and ballet performances by the resident companies.
