Named in honour of the Italian patriot and soldier, Giuseppe Garibaldi (1807-1882). 1877 addition of a cast iron roof by Giuseppe Damiani Almejda. Interior decorations by Giuseppe Enea, Rocco Lentini, and Giuseppe Cavallaro completed by 1891. Capacity: 4000 persons in the main hall (plus 500 persons in each of the two adjacent halls). |
