Built 1829-1832 by Rossi. Opened 1832. Later renamed "Alexandrinsky Teatr" in honour of Alexandra, the wife of Czar Nicholas II. Renamed 1917 in honour of the Russian poet, Alexander Sergeyevich Pushkin (1799-1837). 1800 seats.
