Concert hall, built by Percy Thomas Partnership and Renton Howard Wood Levin. Opened 15 April 1991, officially opened 12 June 1991 by Queen Elizabeth II. 2001 installation of a pipe organ by Johannes Klais Orgelbau. 2262 seats. Home to the City of Birmingham Symphony Orchestra. Mainly used for classical and other concerts. Also used for conferences as part of the International Convention Centre.
