Built in the 1939 by A. E. Richardson, C. Lovatt Gill and Arthur Percival Starky as "Crescent Cinema". 1282 seats. Closed ca. 1967. 1969 rebuilding by Roderick Ham. Re-opened 17 Sep 1969 as "Thorndike Theatre". Closed 1997. Later used as a cinema and by religious groups. Re-opened 2001 as "Leatherhead Theatre". 512 seats.
