Built 1899 by Ernest A. E. Woodrow, replacing the "Oriental Palace of Varieties". Opened 1899 as "Camberwell Palace". 1553 seat (+ standing). 1932 renamed "Palace Cinema". From 1943, again used as a live theatre named "Camberwell Palace Theatre". Closed 28 Apr 1956. Subsequently demolished.
