Cinema, also used for live shows, built 1928 by Robert Cromie. Opened 18 Dec 1928 with the film "The Last Command". 3925 seats. Theatre organ by Compton (4 manuals/22 ranks). Damaged by a bomb on 14 Jan 1944 (killing 6 audience members). Subsequently repaired. Closed May 1959. Subsequently demolished in favour of an office block ("Davis House") and a car park.
