Built 1785-1787 as "Royalty Theatre". Around 1817 shorly named "East London Theatre". Destroyed by fire on 11 April 1826. Subsquently the "Royal Brunswick Theatre" was built on the site.

[Another "Royalty Theatre" operated in Dean Street, Soho, from 1840 to 1938.]
