Cinema, built 1913 by Boreham & Gladding. Opened Oct 1913 as "Empress Electric Theatre". Later renamed "Empress Picture Theatre". 1951 rebuilding, re-opened as It was re-furbished in 1951 and re-opened as "Rex Cinema". 1970 renamed "The Screen on the Green" (after the neighbouring park, Islington Green). 1981 rebuilding. Originally 600 seats, later 300 seats, since 2010: 120 seats.
