Built 1911 by Stanley C. Ramsey and E. Borg on the site of an old fort, as a dance and concert hall with a semi-circular open-air theatre behind. 1963 addition of a roof to the open-air theatre to form "Queen's Hall". Current capacity: 1400 seats (Winter Gardens Hall), 500 seats (Queen's Hall).
