Built 1902 by C. J. Richardson. Opened 1 Aug 1902 as "Queen's Palace Theatre". Destroyed by a fire on 27 Nov 1907. Subsequently rebuilt and reopened 1911 as a theatre and cinema (named "Queen's Theatre", also known as "Queen's Picture Theatre"). 1914 renamed "Picturedrome", 1919 renamed "Futurist Picture House" and "Grand Theatre", 1926 renamed "Queen's Theatre". 1931 interior redesign. Closed 4 April 1960. Later used as an amusement arcade.
