Built 1969-1971 by Renton Howard Wood Associates for the M J Gleeson Group. Opened Nov 1971 with "Fanfare". Later addidition of a studio theatre. 2007-2009 major renovation. Used for musical, dance and drama performances as well as for squash tournaments and the annual World Snooker Championship. 980 seats.
