National Bunraku Theatre, built 1979-1983 by Kurokawa Kisho. Opened March 1984. The complex comprises a main theatre (753 seats) and a smaller rehearsal and studio stage (159 seats). Mainly used for performances of Bunraku (traditional puppet theatre).
