Christchurch: Christchurch Town Hall of the Performing Arts Reverse Text: "Christchurch Town Hall, New Zealand. Standing proudly in an impressive setting the striking architecture of the Town Hall belies the assumption that Christchurch is a conservative city. The building is set on the banks of the River Avon, and the waters are used to pleasing effect in the spectacular Ferrier Fountain which cascades into a shallow pool on the verge of the river."
